Stacy L. Murray-Medcalf resides in South Point, OH. Her husband, Overseer, Rev. Larry Z. Medcalf passed away during the book release process. Together they have 9 children, 17 grandchildren, and 9 great grandchildren. She is the 7th child born to the late Rev. and Mrs. (Karolyn K.) Thomas R. Murray, Sr.

An Ohio University Alumni, Stacy graduated with honors at 33 with a Bachelor's Degree in Psychology and Sociology, and an Associate's Degree of Office Technology. While her career is as an administrative assistant and medical transcriptionist, in 2010 she co-founded a non-profit organization named The Cause, Inc and is also co-founder and overseer of The God Factor Ministries, Inc.

In addition to her non-profit work, she is also a patient advocate, American Cancer Society Reach to Recovery Representative, Herald - Dispatch Independent columnist, and Certified Mental Health Specialist.
